Institute evidence to the Culture, Media and Sport Committee inquiry – Cyber security: Protection of personal data

Following a series of cyber-attacks this inquiry looked into the circumstances surrounding the data breaches and the wider implications for telecoms and internet service providers.

The Institute submitted evidence focusing on the way attacks undermine customer trust in business and how they, and government, should do more to reassure consumers.
