CEO Jo Causon on abuse of customer facing staff: “We (as business leaders) need to stand up and say this is not acceptable behaviour”.

Our CEO Jo Causon was invited to the BBC Breakfast studio to discuss the latest survey results from our Service with Respect campaign, which shines a light on the unacceptable levels of abuse and hostility faced by our customer-facing workers.

Our latest research shows that 36% of customer-facing workers across multiple sectors have faced abuse and hostility in the past six months, while 40% who have experienced abuse have considered quitting as a result. A further 35% of these workers think customer aggression has increased in the past six months.
