Head to Head with Alastair Brass (M&S)

Alastair Brass, Central Operations Director at M&S, will be meeting with Jo Causon as part of our Head to Head series.

Alastair Brass joined M&S in May 2021. Prior to this role, Alastair was the Customer Contact Director at British Gas since July 2020. He joined the company in 2017 and held a number of roles across the business, such as Performance Director in Customer Operations, Sales and Service Director UK, Transformation Director – UK Change, and Customer Service Director – Energy.

Prior to British Gas, he spent 10 years in business and operational transformation leadership roles for Currys PC World, Thomas Cook, Capita and Carphone Warehouse. Subsequent to this, Alastair worked in strategy consulting and spent the early part of his career at Procter & Gamble in global manufacturing and supply chain.

Originally from Glasgow, Alastair now lives in Kent with his wife and three young children. He devotes much of his time to family and his middle daughter Ella, who suffers from a rare genetic condition called Cohen Syndrome. In his spare time Alastair enjoys house restoration and anything related to cars.
